Questions, answered
Do players need to install an app?
No. Players scan the QR code on the TV with their phone's camera, and the controller opens in the browser. Only the TV needs Pocket Play.
Which TVs does it work on?
Pocket Play is coming to Amazon Fire TV first, through the Amazon Appstore.
How many people can play?
Up to six phones can join at once. Most games take up to four players and Island Panic takes all six. In Couch Football the computer fills any empty seats on either team.
Do the phones need to be on the same Wi-Fi?
Yes. Phones connect directly to the TV over your home network, which keeps the controls fast. Guest networks that keep devices apart can block that.
What do I need to buy?
Nothing to start: most games are free. Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks every game.
Do I need an account?
You can play the free games as a guest. Signing in with Google or email lets you subscribe to Premium and keep it on any TV.
